  • From 2021 to 2022, LaTri-c-ea McClendon-Hunt was named to the National Black Lawyers Association’s 40 Under 40 list, recognizing emerging leaders in the legal profession.

  • From 2022 through 2024, she was named a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in Alternative Dispute Resolution, honoring outstanding legal professionals early in their careers.

  • She appeared on the Rhode Island Super Lawyers Rising Stars List from 2022 to 2024, recognizing the top 2.5% of lawyers under 40 or with less than ten years of practice in Rhode Island.

  • In 2025, she was named a Fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation for her professional achievements and service to the community.

  • Also in 2025, she received the State of Connecticut/Rhode Island Power of S.H.E. Award, given to a woman exemplifying resilience and advocacy through advancing social, health, or economic justice programs.

  • In 2025, she was honored as one of the “Top 100 Black Lawyers” in Rhode Island by the National Black Lawyers Association, recognizing her outstanding legal skills and contributions.
