Awards and Recognitions
From 2021 to 2022, LaTri-c-ea McClendon-Hunt was named to the National Black Lawyers Association’s 40 Under 40 list, recognizing emerging leaders in the legal profession.
From 2022 through 2024, she was named a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in Alternative Dispute Resolution, honoring outstanding legal professionals early in their careers.
She appeared on the Rhode Island Super Lawyers Rising Stars List from 2022 to 2024, recognizing the top 2.5% of lawyers under 40 or with less than ten years of practice in Rhode Island.
In 2025, she was named a Fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation for her professional achievements and service to the community.
Also in 2025, she received the State of Connecticut/Rhode Island Power of S.H.E. Award, given to a woman exemplifying resilience and advocacy through advancing social, health, or economic justice programs.
In 2025, she was honored as one of the “Top 100 Black Lawyers” in Rhode Island by the National Black Lawyers Association, recognizing her outstanding legal skills and contributions.
